Actito is on G2: your opinion on our platform

The way people are buying software is changing rapidly; buyers have access to a vast amount of information; the supply is nearly endless; lots of products have now a freemium or trial version meaning people can test before buying. And let's face it, B2B buyers want to have the same experiences they have when buying for themselves. Who has never purchase something on Amazon or an online store, not check the little stars and read the reviews about a book or a new TV?

Why we decide to give the floor to our users?

G2 CEO Godard Abel took on that mission, helping B2B buyers discover the best tech for their needs. He wanted those based on human reviews like you would do to buy your new fridge. The quadrants and reports are outdated. The power is in users that have experimented with the "been there done that." G2 is working very hard to make sure the reviews are trustworthy and not influenced by the vendors.

At Actito, we believe that this way of buying is the right way, maybe a bit more American at the moment but Europe is catching up very quickly. To give you an idea six months ago, G2 was a team of a few people in London; today, they are more than 20.

We started collecting our first reviews in April of this year. The main reason was to collect feedback from our users and understand how the market perceives us. That resulted in a lovely badge during Summer with high-performer in the mid-market, we were very proud of that with an average score of 4.2/5.

We embrace that as much as we can. Probably that some will tell us we are just nuts to have started our journey on G2 that way. For me it's about that authenticity that is key, although we don't have 4,9/5 we know better where we have to focus on, we see what our clients expect us to offer them, we know who to ask when we need to validate an assumption. That is also part of the G2 power.

What is our ambition with G2? Become the leader in the midmarket in our category. We are building a community of Actito lovers and experts. Providing to our sales team the reviews and connections that can help their prospects understand better our value proposition.
