ACTITO is a Belgian company that was founded in 2000 and that develops an Agile Marketing Automation platform in SaaS mode. Actito helps marketers to manage their multi-channel campaigns and to interact at the right time with each contact in a personalized way. We help marketers to take business opportunities throughout their customers' journey, with the right combination of technologies and integrated services. We promote customer-centric marketing by deploying acquisition, cross-selling and loyalty programs with growth and ROI always in mind.

Actito continues to grow to become a strong European player in marketing automation, with subsidiaries in France, the Netherlands, Canada, the United Kingdom and Spain.

In order to expand our Belgian Actito team, we are looking for a Business Development Manager for our office in Louvain-la-Neuve.

Responsible of developing business and sales in Belgium:

  • Focus on the market of medium to large accounts, searching strong marketing automation solutions

  • Majorly direct sales to companies, some indirect opportunities with agencies

  • Focus on sales and pre-sales activities. Lead the opportunity with the help of experts (technology, project, strategy). Once contract signed, the customer is passed to "Account & Project Management" team for set-up and continuous account management

  • Part of Sales & Marketing team

  • Report to the Sales Manager Belgium

Strategic listening and consultative selling:

You start from business needs of our customers, in order to issue specific recommendations on how to leverage business & marketing opportunities through the deployment of our Actito technology and services within their global, marketing and IT organization

Full service approach:

  • You sell solutions with technology and integrated expert services

  • We accompany their adoption of Actito technology with technical project and marketing services skills. Team work between our business development, project management and technical team is critical in producing full offers

Long-term relationships:

The sales cycle is long, from 3 to 12 months. We invest in maintaining long-term relationships with our customers – and we will strive to continue to deserve this trust.

About You

  • Trilingual (NL, F, E), preferably NL native, or you are perfectly bilingual in French-Dutch

  • A proven ability to sell full service technology solutions at C-level of medium to large corporate accounts

  • An active business network of decision-makers, preferably in marketing B2C departments, in some of our priority market sectors in Belgium

  • An ability to lobby, defend, influence stakeholders within large corporations, during the 3 to 12-month decision process, between marketing, IT departments and general management

  • An ability to translate understood business needs into structured solutions and customer or user centric technology demonstrations

  • Capacity to lead, drive and build comprehensive sales offer & files (RFP/RFQ) with the input of ACTITO experts (tool, projects, strategy)

  • … and passionately digital – better yet if you have significant knowledge of CRM or digital marketing

  • Demonstrated personal interest in technology, digital marketing, data-driven marketing (CRM, Marketing Automation)

  • Natural intra-preneur, focus on business objectives and company building

  • Independent, « Do » positive attitude, team player & driver at soul

  • Precise, structured and organized, strategic to operational to technology mindset

  • Need to be comfortable with technology related to data-driven 1to1 marketing

  • You have an intrapreneurship spirit to fit in a fast growing company environment

  • 5 to 10 year experience of track records with results

  • Experience in sales, medium to large accounts, from generation to qualification to proposal to conversion
